Service notice

Update 06/04/2020:
Currently, we are well prepared to meet our customer's expectations as a critical supply chain partner during these challenging times. We have also been communicating closely with our suppliers to ensure essential materials are reaching their customers.

We continue to closely monitor the pandemic and have implemented several safety measures to help mitigate health and safety risks to our employees and customers:

  • Our delivery drivers are wearing PPE (gloves and masks) and are maintaining regular hand-washing/sanitation
  • We are conducting contactless deliveries through curbside drop-offs only at this time

We will continue to provide updates if the situation changes. Thank you for your patience and for helping us keep each other safe and healthy!

Update 31/03/2020:
The outbreak of COVID-19 has, first and foremost, been a personal tragedy for too many. At TOOLBX, we want to open by acknowledging this, and by sending our thoughts and best wishes to everyone affected. It has also brought a change to billions of people's daily way of life - including how we, as members of the construction industry, are doing our jobs.

The construction industry, along with businesses that support the industry, have been deemed an essential service by the government of Ontario. As a result, construction work will continue across the province.

As a supply chain member that supports the delivery of materials to the construction industry, our service will remain operational at this time. We are closely following the advice from government officials and public health organizations on the situation. We will continue to update our customers if the situation changes.

Flattening the curve

At TOOLBX, the well-being of our team and our customers is imperative. In order to reduce exposure and do our part in flattening the curve, we have made the following adjustments to our business operations:

  • White-glove service has been suspended to reduce unnecessary contact between drivers and customers
  • Our drivers will wear protective gloves for drop-offs and will maintain regular hand-washing/sanitization
  • We have implemented a mandatory work-from-home policy for all our office staff

W‌e will continue to review the situation and will follow up with any further measures if necessary. Thank you for your business, and please stay safe during these challenging times.  If you have any questions about this update or would like more clarification you can contact us by live chat or at
